1 Corinthians 2:10
It’s important that believers’ living please God, showing that we have faith in Him and trust His wisdom and not the often self-centered wisdom of man. We have the assurance that the plans God already has prepared for those who love Him are not only earthly but heavenly and above what we can ever imagine. Remember, Isaiah said that as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are God’s ways higher than your ways, and His thoughts are higher than your thoughts.
Paul continued instructing the Corinthians in the benefit of God’s wisdom over man’s wisdom. In reference to the revelation of the plans God already has prepared for those who love him, he told the Corinthians, “But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God” (v.10). Those things God has prepared for believers are revealed to us by His Holy Spirit, Who knows all things. How blessed are we that God’s Holy Spirit lives in all who accept, trust, and obey Him through faith in Jesus, His Son! Through the Spirit believers have the power to know God’s mind and fulfill His purposes in their lives.
